Nestor Education was founded by Roma Rodriguez-Alarcon.

Roma spent his formative years as a Scholar at St Paul’s School. He went on to read History and French at University College London, graduating on the Dean’s List with an exceptional First Class degree. After taking his BA, Roma has spent time studying Renaissance Art at the British Institute in Florence, and he is currently completing an MPhil in Intellectual History at Somerville College, Oxford. 

Roma began tutoring privately after leaving St Paul’s in 2018 and has now accumulated over five thousand hours of teaching experience. Many of Roma's tutees have gone on to win places and scholarships at England’s most academically competitive schools, and he has a formidable track record of helping students receive offers from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

Roma co-founded Nestor in 2024 with the mission of putting together an outstanding team of educators capable of delivering genuinely exceptional academic support and  cultural enrichment to students of all ages.
