Teaching Experience
George has tutoring experience in both English and Spanish, and - now that he uses Arabic professionally working in geopolitics - is looking to add a third language to his teaching repertoire. George began tutoring on his year abroad in Jordan, volunteering for a refugee charity and teaching English to a class of secondary school children for three months.
Over the first lockdown, George began teaching Spanish at GCSE to a secondary school student and English as a foreign language to Polish students of different ages. He planned bespoke lessons which were tailored to the interests of each student. George soon clocked over fifty hours of tutoring, gaining more students as a result of his patience, hard work and ability to convey complex ideas in a fun and digestible format, emphasising fluid conversation and interesting reading activities.
Cultured, curious and motivated, George would make a particularly good fit for students from the Arab or Hispanic World who seek to get into top British independent schools.
