Teaching Experience
Lizzie is a London based Doctor who specialises in tutoring Maths and the Sciences. Since graduating in 2023, she has completed Foundation Training working in a range of jobs including Medicine, Emergency General Surgery, ITU, A&E and General Practice. Throughout her time at Edinburgh, she was involved in peer teaching programmes within the Medical School as well as mentoring girls from her alma mater applying for medicine.
She has recently taken up a post at Imperial College London as a Clinical Education Fellow, teaching medical students from Years 1-6 and helping develop both written and clinical exams for the Medical School.
Lizzie brings a warm, structured approach to tutoring, combining clinical experience with a passion for teaching. She is committed to building confidence and clarity in her students, tailoring each session to their unique goals and learning style.

Lizzie is currently undertaking a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education and additional research in medical education.
Having recently hung up her coxing gear, she’s now training for the Florence Marathon, swapping early mornings on the water for long runs. When not in the hospital or running (or occasionally running through the hospital) she enjoys long dog walks, baking and getting lost in a good book.
