Teaching Experience
Luke began tutoring privately in 2020, teaching GCSE Mathematics and English to class sizes of up to 6. In the years following, he has accumulated over 150 hours of one-to-one experience, covering all from preparation for the 11+ to Oxbridge mock admissions. Luke’s students have achieved remarkable success, with one collecting a perfect 11 grade 9s at GCSE and two now current undergraduates at Oxford.
His teaching approach is centred around working through questions tailored to address the unique needs of the student. These are surrounded by explanations and discussion that look to foster a curiosity for the subject matter, going beyond rote learning. Luke’s commitment and clarity in communicating have been praised by parents and former students throughout his time as a tutor.

Extra-Curricular Interests
Luke is spending much of his summer building an MRI machine from scratch within a MedTech startup.
Outside the lab, he can often be found on the rugby, football or hockey pitch. A keen chef, Luke also loves trying his hand at elaborate meals to impress housemates. At this stage it is very much trying.
Availability
Luke is available primarily for online tuition.
He is, however, available for occasional in-person tuition in London and Oxford.
