Professional experience
Matthew has co-founded a UK-politics focused start-up think tank with an ex-UK Ambassador. Previously, Matthew represented two Organisations at the United Nations (Geneva), one of which represented 300+ million people.
Teaching Experience
Matthew’s teaching priorities a caring, patient and empathetic approach. He aims to inspire achievement by drawing his passion for learning out of his pupils, tailoring his tuition to the needs and aims of the individual.
Matthew has extensive experience in mentoring students through the University Admissions process. He offers a range of support, from Personal Statement writing and editing, to a tailored super-curricular program to help students identify their passions, to strengthen their university application.
Matthew has worked with students who have successfully gained places on a range of courses, such as: French and Arabic (University of Cambridge), Land Economy (University of Cambridge), Veterinary Medicine (University of Edinburgh), Mathematics (Durham University), Geography (University of Oxford), Chemistry (University of York).
Matthew has provided 1-on-1 and group tuition for a range of subjects at GCSE level, including English (literature and language), Humanities (Geography, History and Religious Studies) and Science subjects.

Matthew spends his time engulfed in domestic and international politics and history. Outside of politics, Matthew is an outdoors enthusiast - hiking, swimming, rowing and playing a range of sports.
Matthew has obtained qualifications in public speaking, classical guitar, singing and piano.
Availability
Matthew is available for online tuition but commits to travelling to London for his first session with each pupil, to establish a relationship with the pupil and their family.
