Teaching experience:
Paul has been tutoring students one-on-one and in person for almost a decade. His teaching style is conversational but rigorous. He particularly enjoys teaching close reading, of poetry and prose. In addition to private tuition, Paul has taught classes for summer schools and educational charities, and lectured in various contexts. Over the course of his DPhil he has also tutored undergraduates at several Oxford colleges, and co-taught classes at the English Faculty.

Paul enjoys walking, running and cycling around London, and further afield when he has the time. He is an occasional lay preacher. He is also learning Italian, slowly.
