Teaching experience

Samantha has taught advanced singing and beginner piano at schools across Melbourne and London, as well as online lessons in Singapore, United Kingdom, and USA. With young musicians, she specialises in building sight-reading, aural training and piano skills up to Grade Three ABRSM level. With singers, is experienced with students of all ages and levels.

Regardless of genre, Samantha believes that the fundamentals of vocal production are the same. She is passionate about, first and foremost, finding a healthy and free technique for each singer.

The benefits of learning to breathe as a singer and as a pianist go beyond the stage; being able to breathe well improves public speaking, reduces anxiety, and allows you to freely access your creative brain at any moment. Samantha believes in a holistic approach to singing and piano and incorporates movement and visualisation into her lessons. With Samantha, you can always expect to leave lessons with a spring in your step and a zest for life.
