Teaching Experience
Theodore is a dedicated and experienced educator, currently teaching Spanish and French at an all-girls secondary school in South London through the Teach First programme. With Qualified Teacher Status and extensive classroom experience, he teaches students aged 11-18 and is passionate about guiding students in challenging environments to reach their full potential.
Theodore leads the school's Oxbridge programme, mentoring over 20 sixth formers through the entire UCAS application cycle – from constructing compelling personal statements to rigorous interview preparation. His debate coaching has seen the school’s team win debates in prestigious competitions including the Nehru Cup at Harrow and the Southwark Schools Learning Partnership competition.
As a Cambridge Student Ambassador and Trinity College Mentor, Theodore mentored Sixth Form Cambridge applicants, providing personalised guidance on UCAS applications and interview preparation. He supported students from underrepresented backgrounds through their first formal academic applications: several of his mentees have since joined the University of Cambridge.

Teaching Philosophy
Theodore believes that effective tutoring extends far beyond academic achievement. His approach centres on building each student’s confidence and promoting personal resilience.
Though he teaches and mentors hundreds of students on a daily basis in his school and tutoring roles, Theodore treats every pupil as an individual, recognising that each brings a unique set of strengths, challenges, and circumstances. He tailors his teaching to support students not only academically but also emotionally, helping them to navigate pressure, build self-belief, and thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
Extra-Curricular Interests
Theodore is a keen thespian, having performed at Shakespeare’s Globe and RADA. He is a passionate debater, having travelled to India to debate with the Calcutta Debate Circle.
Deeply engaged in politics, Theodore has been involved in grassroots work in his local area and contributed to political research in Brazil during the 2022 presidential elections. He has also worked with the UN and EU on the development of international programmes in Southeast Asia during his time at Generali in Italy.
In addition, Theodore is a keen sportsman, having been a part of four University 1st teams at Cambridge whilst also being President of Trinity College’s Sports Association. He was Secretary of the University Boxing Team.
His love for languages, culture, and communication shapes both his teaching style and his global perspective.
