Teaching experience
Violet began tutoring privately in 2020, working with children as young as 6 and as old as 19. Described by past students as extremely personable, kind and approachable, she pairs these invaluable soft skills with diligent preparation and a focus on academic rigour. With an undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature, paired with an MSc in Environment politics and Development Violet has an excellent academic background across both the humanities and the social sciences.
Caring, patient and dedicated, Violet believes in tailoring her lessons to each student to make learning an engaging and productive experience. For Violet tutoring is about giving students the tools to feel confident, capable and inspired to expand their horizons and achieve their goals. Violet spends her time reading fiction, keeping up to date with current affairs and playing the piano. An enthusiastic oil painter and hobbyist fine artist, Violet attends art classes and loves keeping up to date with the latest exhibitions at London’s excellent galleries.
